Blender Sculpting Not Working
Hi guys i have sculpted a head in blender 2 8 and i had no problem for a couple of days masking but today for some reason when i masked part of the mesh the dark paint of the mask didn t show.
Blender sculpting not working. I am new and following a tutorial on how to make a good looking donut. Unfortunately i messed up and needed to restart working on it. I tried restarting. But with the stable version it works ok.
I heard that quads are better than triangles. I have followed the instructions that are in the essential blender and my sculpt tool will still not work. I know the masking still works because the area that i have masked protected it from being manipulated by the sculpting brush but i just cannot see the actual mask. You mean of course dyntopo sculpting yes it makes all triangles though you must keep keep in mind that at. I do not understand why this question was closed as uncler it looks perfectly clear to me and was first result when i googled blender sculpting mask not visible. I have tried clicking on the object and i have turned on dynotopo too nothing is working. After sculpting in blender the models get full of triangles.
If so then is there any other way than alt j to convert them to quads. Does tris affect rendering. When i did it yesterday everything worked fine. I am in sculpting mode trying to sculpt a 7x subserfed cube but it s doing nothing.

Kkk is a new contributor to this site. So in case you re not using the stable version that s possibly a new bug you ran into but current builds are unstable for work they re reworking the whole interface with those tabs it wouldn t be a surprise it broke something recently in other parts of blender.
